Yanga head coach Miguel Gamondi said today they lost the game against Ihefu Fc because they made mistakes in the field and not because he made a 'rotation' of his team
In the game played at Highland Estates, Mbarali Mbeya, Gamondi changed about seven players who started in the previous game in the Champions League against Al Merrikh
"We lost the game not because I made a team change, we were tied because we made a mistake"
"I think we gave them a gift for the first goal, we talked earlier that the field was not friendly to us so we should avoid playing in our area but mistakes were made that led to us being closed"
"The second goal was a surprise attack, we didn't do what we should have done and we were punished"
"If we had won today no one would have talked about changes. Sometimes it is important to make these changes based on the schedule we face," said Gamondi
Gamondi added that it was not an interesting game especially in the second half when Ihefu FC decided not to play the ball and the referees stopped taking action
"We have lost a match on the field but there were many other non-sporting incidents, it is sad to see that no measures have been taken," he said
