Yanga head coach Miguel Gamondi said the victory against Namungo Fc was the most important result even though he was not happy with how his team played
Also Gamondi has noted that tactically it was not easy to penetrate Namungo Fc's fortress where 10 players were behind the ball (they packed the bus)
"I think the win is the most important result for us but overall I was not happy with the way we played. I know there are matches we will need more wins than playing well, this could be one of them"
"We lacked focus on finishing but also the players were in a hurry and made decisions that were not correct. Our opponents also did not come to play the ball, they used every technique to waste time and unfortunately no measures were taken against them"
"It is possible that fatigue contributed to my players' lack of quality as we have just played a difficult match on Saturday but I am happy we were able to win," said Gamondi
Yanga's only goal in the game was scored by Mudathir Yahya who finished a low cross from Yao
The attack started with Jesus Moloko passing to Aziz Ki who slipped a pass to Yao who finished the field before hitting a low cross
The victory has returned Yanga to the top of the league standings after reaching 9 points and scoring 11 goals without conceding any goals
