Yesterday the Fountain Gate Princess team won the Gates Tournament title after beating Yanga Princess by penalty kicks 9-8 after finishing 90 minutes with a 1-1 draw
The competition had six teams from Fountain Gate, Bunda Queens, Gets Program, Yanga Princess, Baobab Queens who took third place and New Generation from Zanzibar.
The teams were placed in groups A and B where they competed by playing two matches in each group before moving on to the semi-finals and finally the final game ended yesterday
Despite Yanga Princess' goals to win the title did not come true, the coach of the team Haaalubono Charles has had a good time to see his team and now he will make important improvements before the new season of the Women's Premier League begins
