Yanga Information Officer Ali Kamwe has said that they expect to have more than 100 buses that will carry fans to Rwanda for the first round game to compete for a ticket to advance to the group stage of the African Champions League against Al Merrikh
The game will be played on Saturday September 16 2023, the team and the fan caravan expected to leave on Thursday September 14
"For those from neighboring regions and Rwanda, the procedure is organized in branches, for those from the city of Dar es Salaam, the cost is Tsh 150,000/-, contact us through the phone number we have provided or come to the club headquarters for to complete the necessary travel procedures, you must have a passport," said Kamwe
In another step, the former midfielder of Yanga Haruna Niyonzima has welcomed the members and fans of the team in the game against Al Merrikh
"We are very happy to hear that you are coming home, we will receive you well, I ask my fellow Rwandans to cooperate with me to receive our team well. I pray for you to have a good game to start this tournament well," said Niyonzima
Yanga is aiming to qualify for the Champions League groups, so it needs to start well in the first leg game away from home
