Yanga Princess continues training for the upcoming season of the Premier Women's League and the Get International competition, while insisting that they want the championship
Last week Yanga Princess parted with 13 players, it has made the best signing that includes foreign stars including Madina Traore midfielder from Burkina Faso, Ghanaian striker Faiza Sedu and Adejoke Ejalonibu attacking midfielder from Raja Casablanca of Morocco.
Yanga Assistant Coach Princess Fred Mbuna has said that the leaders of Yanga saw the need to remove 13 players to strengthen the squad for the next season and he believes that the newly registered players will help to win the championship
Last season Yanga Princess finished in fourth place in the league standings.
Yanga Princess played two friendly matches last week, the first winning 7-0 against Sports Academy and 2-0 against Ilala Queens as a measure of preparation for the Get International Championship that will be held in Dodoma from September 9 to 23 .
The competition includes 12 teams including Get Program, Fountain Gate Princess, Yanga Princess, Simba Queens, Bunda Queens, New Generation, JKT Queens, Alliance Girls, CFC Aman FC, Polisi Queens, Kampala Queens and Ceasia Queens.
