Yanga striker, Fiston Mayele has said that he is proud to be involved in the success of Yanga in various competitions, while admitting that this is the best season for him in his football career
Speaking after the Azam Confederation Cup (ASFC) semi-final game between Singida Big Stars and Yanga played yesterday in Singida region and he scored the only goal in that game, thus sending Yanga to the final stage, he said this season has been of his success in national and international championships
"I have participated in the CAF championship many times but I never scored seven or six goals, I used to score, but three or two goals so I am very happy with this season," said Mayele
Mayele leads the way in scoring in the Tanzania Mainland Premier League with 16 goals, but he also has six goals in the African Confederation Cup where Yanga has entered the final stage
In this season Mayele has scored 33 goals in all competitions
