Yanga central defender Ibrahim Bacca has revealed the secret of his improved performance in the one season he has served the Tanzanian champions
Since he joined Yanga in the min window of registration last season from KMKM club, Bacca has seen his quality improve and now succeeds in breaking into the first team of Coach Nasreddine Nabi, also being called up for the first time to play in the Tanzanian National Team 'Taifa Stars'
Bacca said the quality of the players he plays along in the defensive line is the secret of his success, explaining that he learns and gets cooperation from them
Yanga formed by the wall of Joyce Lomalisa, Dickson Job, Bakari Mwamnyeto, Bacca, Mamadou Doumbia, Djuma Shaban, Kibwana Shomari and Yanick Bangala
Bacca has said that he is happy to play with all the defenders in Yanga because each one has his own style of play
"All the defenders I have had the chance to play with are capable and are good leaders on the field but I am happier playing with another defender in the middle and Bangala is as high as number six. He is a very intelligent defender and likes to talk. I call him a leader defender"
em>"If you play on the field by reminding each other of your responsibilities, the game of football is easier and many mistakes are reduced. We have captain Mwamnyeto who speaks, he has all the qualities to be a leader, but there is Bangala who does not like the team to lose"
"I cannot mention the characteristics of each player, but what is seen on the field is based on trusting each other and giving each other instructions so that each one can perform well and the team can get good results," said Bacca
