Mayele leads the race for the top scorer in the NBC premier league with 16 goals, six goals more than Moses Phiri and Saido Ntibazonkiza of Simba who are in second place with 10 goals
Also in the CAF CC, Mayele also leads the way with five goals, the same as Ranga Chivaviro of Malumo Ganants both scoring five goals
Mayele has made clear his desire to be the top scorer of the league and the CAF Confederation cup to decorate his best season in his career

This season Mayele has scored 31 goals in all competitions and reached 50 goals since he joined Yanga in 2021
