After a one-day break, Yanga has returned to training for the preparation of the second leg game in the quarter-finals of the CAF Confederation Cup in against Rivers United. The game will be played on Sunday, April 30th at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium
Yanga Information Officer, Ali Kamwe has said that all the players have returned to training to complete the preparations for the game against Rivers United
"After returning from Nigeria, the players were given a day rest, the squad has returned to training today for the preparation of our second game against Rivers United which will be played on Sunday at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium"< /p>
"We are grateful that all the players are fine, we did not get any injured players in our first game," said Kamwe
Kamwe said the players have returned to training with high morale, their mission is to win Sunday's match to reach the semi-finals
"After the victory in Nigeria, we leaders were very happy but the situation was different for the players. Captain Bakari Nondo Mwamnyeto said their happiness is after the second game against Rivers United on Sunday"
