Yanga arrived in UYO City in Nigeria yesterday and started their preparations for the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup quarter-final against Rivers United
The game will be played on Sunday April 23 at the Godwill Akpabio stadium, one of the best pitches in Nigeria
Yanga's right back, Djuma Shaban, has said that if there is a big pain in their hearts, it is because of the result of losing against their countrymen Simba but they have planned to change the wind through the game against Rivers United.
Djuma has said that they know the quality of their hosts when they meet them for the second time although they are aware that they have a new team but now they already know their weaknesses and their quality
"We hurt our fans and it hurt us a lot to lose to Simba, but that has passed now, there is a message to remind us that we need to change the results to bring back happiness to our people," said Djuma
"We have looked at their matches, we now know where to spend to create a victory, but we will also increase our attention to make sure we stop their attackers, who have quality, so that they do not damage our scores"
After the first round game, Yanga will return to Dar es Salaam to complete the second game which will be played at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium, April 30
