Yanga striker Kennedy Musonda has apologized to the fans following the loss of the derby game against Simba which was played at Benjamin Mkapa stadium On Sunday
Being his first derby game since joining Yanga in January 2023, Musonda said that the result has hurt him a lot and he is also aware of the pain they have caused their fans
"We thank our fans for the support you gave us yesterday, I know we let you down and it hurts a lot to wake up today after losing my first derby"
"But we still need you now more than ever. We have learned from our mistakes and we will come back stronger and more hungry for success," said Musonda
It was the second game for Yanga to lose in the league this season and it was also the first game to lose against Simba in the league in three years
