The former Secretary General of the Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) Angetile Osiah has expressed surprise at the action taken by the player Feisal Salum to TFF to request to terminate his contract with Yanga
Osiah has said that it is something to think about when a player asks another institution to terminate his contract in the club he serves, it is a bad sign that our football is going in the wrong direction
Osiah expressed his views through his social media page;
"Our football is going in wrong direction. The player has a contract with the club, and then he asks another institution to terminate the contract! Logic completely refuses"
"Football has different rules than other jobs in that you can terminate the contract whenever you find greener pasture"
"If he terminate the contract like this, will he start looking for a club that suits him? Those are movies, a person's honesty and integrity are measured in things like this"
"The respect he got and the things that are happening are two different things. He was a great player but he is lowering his status. Trust in the future where he goes will be an issue," wrote Osiah
