Rivers United have requested for the first leg game of the quarter-finals of the CAF Confederation Cup against Yanga to be played at their home ground, Adokiye Amaesimaka
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has inspected the stadium after it was renovated and Rivers United they are waiting for a response from CAF
Rivers United did not use the stadium in their group stage matches after it was blocked by CAF as it did not meet the criteria
The first leg match between Rivers United and Yanga will be played on Sunday April 23rd in Nigeria and the second leg will be played at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium, April 30th
Yanga is determined to win overall in both matches and reach the semi-finals
