In showing that Yanga really 'want' the CAF Confederation Cup game against TP Mazembe which will be played on Sunday, April 02nd, the caravan that left earlier today included the senior leaders of Yanga and GSM
Two members of the Council of Trustees Abbas Tarimba and Geofrey Mwambe are in the caravan which also includes the 'big boss' Ghalib Said Mohamed (GSM)
The president of Yanga, Engineer Hersi Said, led the Management, the whole caravan with about 44 people
It is very rare to see GSM traveling with the team, when you see him doing that, then know that there is something big going to be done!
Yanga is determined to set a record of advancing beyond the quarter-final, which since the new CAF competition system came into force in 2016, no Tanzanian team has ever gone beyond, be it the Champions League or the Confederations Cup
Yanga aim at finishing first in group D, a position they still hold until now
Citizens need to win against TP Mazembe to put themselves in a good position while waiting for the result of the game between US Monastir and Real Bamako which will be played at 10 pm.
The match between TP Mazembe and Yanga will be played at 4 pm
Yanga has scored more goals than Monastir and they also have a better GD than Monastir (+1)
If Yanga win even by one goal against TP Mazembe, then US Monastir will need to score at least three goals to overtake Yanga at the top
So the Citizens will need to get any win although if they score more than two goals will put them in a better position to finish at the top
