The president of Yanga Sc Engineer Hersi Said has asked members and fans to use the opportunity to travel to DR Congo to support their team in the CAF Confederation Cup game against TP Mazembe which will be played on April 02
Hersi said that the unity of the leaders, the support of members and fans has made it possible to reach the quarter-finals of the Confederation Cup in Africa while they continue to fulfill their local goals by winning the Community Shield, leading the league with a difference of eight points and also reaching the quarter-finals Azam Federation cup
Hersi said they need solidarity and support from the fans to ensure Yanga wins the game against TP Mazembe to lead group D
"The club has prepared an arrangement for members and fans to travel to participate in the game against TP Mazembe in DR Congo"
"This is a good chance for us and historically to lead a difficult group in the CAF COnfederation Cup. The biggest advantage of being the leader of the group is that; in the quarter finals we will be matched with a team that finished second in the other group and most importantly we will start away from home and then finish the second game at home"

Yesterday Yanga announced an opportunity for citizens to travel with the Yanga team to DR Congo, the team is expected to leave Dar es Salaam on March 30. The cost of the round trip is Tsh 700,000/-
