The captain of Yanga Bakari Nondo Mwamnyeto said they expect a tough CAF Confederation cup game against Real Bamako which will be played on Sunday
However, Mwamnyeto said they have made sufficient preparations to ensure that they get good results while asking Yanga fans in Tanzania to pray for them
"The game will be difficult because we are away and our hosts will want to make the most of their home ground to win. But we are prepared and we will fight to make sure we get a good result"
"I tell our Tanzanian fans we are ready for the game, the important thing for them is to keep praying for us so that we can get good results," said Mwamnyeto
Talking about the reception of the team in Bamako, Mwamnyeto said the presence of players Djigui Diarra and Mamadou Doumbia has made many things easier for them as they have received great support
"Diarra and Doumbia are from here, the people here are very happy to see them, which has given us confidence because the fans support us through them. I believe they will help us a lot even on the day of the game"
The Stade Malien club, who are Real Bamako's main opponents, gave a training ground to Yanga and so the Citizens avoided a trap of their hosts who gave them an artificial grass field that was not of good quality
It should be noted that Diarra and Doumbia grew up in the academy of Stade Malien and later served the club successfully
