Midfielder Gael Bigirimana left the country as he has reached an agreement to terminate his one and a half year contract with Yanga Sc
Bigirimana joined Yanga in the July 2022 transfer window signing a two-year contract
Looking at his CV, having played in the English premier league for Newcastle United and also serving the U20 England national team, there was great hope for Bigirimana to succeed with Yanga, but it was not the case
In the min registration window, Yanga needed two positions for foreign players to improve the squad, and had to take difficult decisions by removing Heritier Makambo and Bigirimana while their places were taken by Kennedy Musonda and Mamadou Doumbia
In the midfield, Yanga also added native Mudathir Yahya who actually replaced Bigirimana
Mudathir has added quality to Yanga's midfield probably more than Bigirimana did
Sometimes a player can succeed in one team and fail in another team
That's what happened to Bigirimana who also plays for the Burundi national team
