Yanga has returned to training today after a one-day break, from winning 1-0 against Ruvu Shooting in the premier league game
Yanga head coach Nasreddine Nabi has added 'training sessions' to ensure players are 'fit' for the group stage matches of the Confederations Cup in Africa
The players have been training twice a day, in the morning doing physical fitness and in the evening playing football
It should be noted that the group stages of the Confederations Cup are expected to start in the next two weeks
On February 12nd, Yanga will be in Tunisia to face US Monastir in the first group game
Three matches will be played in February, two matches in March and the last match will be played in April 2023
After facing US Monastir, the citizens will return home to face TP Mazembe on February 19th and then travel to Mali to face Real Bamako on February 26th
In February, Yanga is also expected to play two premier league matches against Namungo Fc and KMC
After achieving the initial goals which is to reach the group stage, Yanga is determined to reach the quarter finals of the competition
