Yanga coach, Nasreddine Nabi has completed a total of 624 days since he started leading the team having led it to win the Premier League championship once, the Community Shield twice, the Azam Federation Cup once but also leading it to the group stage of Confederation Cup this season.
As if that was not enough, the statistics show that in the domestic competitions that Nabi has led Yanga, the team has lost only three matches, two of which are in the Premier League and one is in the Azam Federation Cup and the rest have either won or drawn.
Nabi has come up with another big thing that no coach of the NBC Premier League team has been able to do in the 624 days that the Tunisian has led Yanga.
The tyranny of Nabi is that of being the only coach who has not tasted dismissal since he landed in this country for the first time.
Since Nabi started leading the team, Yanga is the only team that has not changed the head coach until now, while the other 15 have changed coaches from two onwards.
Nabi has witnessed his fellow coaches from other teams being replaced and others brought in, some of whom leave him while he continues to play in the outskirts of the desert.
During the 624 days that Nabi has been in Yanga, Simba has been coached by five different coaches namely Didier Gomez, Hitimana Thiery, Pablo Franco, Juma Mgunda and now Robertinho Olivieira while Azam has been coached by four different coaches namely George Lwandamina, Abdihamid Moalin , Denis Lavagne and Dani Cadena.
Talking about his permanence in Yanga, coach Nabi said it is due to the great faith the club has placed in him
"I thank the leaders, technical bench, fans and players for the great cooperation they have been giving me. This would not have happened if we had not cooperated. I believe we will be more successful if we continue to be together," said Nabi.
