Former Yanga captain, Nadir Haroub 'Cannavaro' has asked the players to sacrifice in Sudan to ensure that they get results that will take them to the group stage of the Champions League.
Nadir has been part of the Yanga squad that shook Al Ahly in the 2014/15 season, losing on penalties in Egypt after a 1-1 draw.
Yanga won 1-0 at Benjamin Mkapa stadium and lost 1-0 in Egypt and thus the winner was decided by a penalty shoot-out with Al Ahly emerging winners
Nadir said Yanga players should believe in themselves, have the determination to believe that nothing is impossible to compete for victory within 90 minutes as long as each team includes 11 players.
"The morale and enthusiasm that was there for the fans, coaches, leaders and players to win the match played at Mkapa should continue in the return game"
"Each team will have 11 players in the field, that will make each player manage their responsibilities and carry the team," said Nadir who holds the record for serving Yanga for the longest time (12 years)
