Yanga youth football Director Mwinyi Zahera has said that they should go to Sudan with a goal of winning and not otherwise
Zahera has been the Head Coach of Yanga in the 2018/19 season, leading Yanga to the Champions League with a 1-0 away win against Township Rollers of Botswana after being forced to a 1-1 draw in the first game played at Benjamin Mkapa
's stadiumZahera said that Yanga and Al Hilal are close in terms of ability, so they still have a chance to do well in Sudan like their opponents
"You can't say the game is over here because we got a draw, we say Al Hilal are only benefiting but they haven't beaten us yet. Yanga should go to Sudan with the same goals as they had here, to seek victory"
"We should not go with the intention of defending, you saw how we played here in the first half, we were very careful but in the second half when we opened we were able to score even though there were mistakes our players made," said Zahera
Speaking about the result of the 1-1 draw against Al Hilal, Zahera said that the players were affected by the pressure outside the field and thus forgot their responsibilities on the field
"After scoring the goal, our players forgot their responsibilities letling pressure from outside get into their heads. Everyone was thinking that we should win by many goals. You will see after scoring the goal, we made many attacks on Al Hilal's goal because a large number of our players were moving forward to attack"
"This is where we made a mistake because 70 percent of Al Hilal's goals are scored through counter-attack because they have fast players. All our midfielders Aucho, Feisal and Aziz Ki were not in their positions when we lost the ball. Al Hilal used the gaps to attack us quickly"
