The Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) explained that the registration of foreign players, especially for teams that participate in international competitions, has been approved by the Committee on Rules and Status of players of this Federation
The statement issued by the TFF earlier today, noted that the Committee on Laws and Status of Players in special circumstances handled the registration of these foreign players quickly before the close of CAF registration window
Players of Yanga, Simba, Azam Fc and Geita Gold were given licenses for the 2022/23 season which were used to apply for registration for CAF competitions
According to rule 62(1) of the 2022 edition of the league, a club is allowed to register no more than 12 foreign players
