The spokesperson of Yanga Haji Manara has commended the 72 Hour Committee of the League Board for taking action against uncivil events including punishing Yanga following the actions of its fans in the Premier League game against the Tanzania Police
However, Manara has expressed surprise that the Committee did not take any action for the dangerous incidents that happened to Yanga players Salum Abubakar (Community Shield Game) and Yannick Bangala (Game against Coastal Union)
In the punishments given by the Committee, they did not talk about the incident made by Hennock Inonga of Simba against Sure Boy and the bad tackle made by Mtenje Albano of Coastal Union against Bangala
The committee has punished the referee of the game against Coastal Union due to the Mtenje incident but it is surprising that they did not take action against the player who did the incident
Manara has reminded of such incidents that were done by Yanga players last season (Dickson Job and Djuma Shabani), the referees did not see them during the game but they were banned by the committee later
