Yanga's coach, Nasreddin Nabi, is struggling to find stamina for his players and the team will continue training on the beaches of Coco, Masaki in Dar es Salaam
Nabi has admitted that he did not have a good time to prepare his team before the season started, so he will use this time that the Premier League has stopped to prepare his team.
He said his schedule changes due to how he sees his players after training, while he changed the type of his program after finishing the Gym this week and now they have moved to the beach.
"Three days ago I thought we would never go back to the gym, but yesterday (the other day) in the morning we did fitness exercises in the evening we were on the field and today (yesterday) in the morning we went to the beach and in the evening to the field," said the coach
He said his players have started to understand each other to some extent, but they have not yet reached the level he wants, so he will continue to work on the shortcomings of his team.
Nabi said his goals are to defend the Premier League championship in the 2022/2023 season, the Confederations Cup (FA) and reach the semi-finals of the African Champions League.
In the first two games of the league, Yanga won 2-1 against Police Tanzania before defeating Coastal Union 2-0.
The game of the third round of the league, Yanga will play against Azam FC, September 6, Benjamin Mkapa Stadium, Dar es Salaam starting at 1.00 pm
