Yanga head coach Nasreddine Nabi said his team is ready for the Community Shield game against Simba which will be played on Saturday at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium
Speaking at a press conference before the game, Nabi said he is aware of the magnitude of the game so they have made good preparations that give them hope of emerging victorious
"I know the importance of this game, we are well prepared. The morale of the players is high, I like their readiness and it gives me hope we will get a good result. We will do our best to win," said Nabi
Nabi noted that the players are ready for the game except striker Lazarus Kambole who got injured in a friendly game against Namungo Fc
Nabi said that winger Jesus Moloko will be part of the squad after recovering from the injuries he suffered in a friendly game against Namungo Fc
"Moloko (Jesus) and Kambole (Lazarus) were injured in a friendly game against Namungo, Moloko is ready to return to the team but Kambole is not yet. We also have foreign players who are ready and we can use them although there are others we will continue to bring them into the team gradually"
Captain of Yanga Bakari Nondo Mwamnyeto has asked fans to come out in large numbers at the Mkapa Stadium to support their team having the intention of defending the Community Shield they won last season
