President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), Patrice Motsepe said the Super Cup competition expected to be established will benefit all the clubs that will participate
Speaking at the annual meeting of CAF held in Arusha, Motsepe said they are aware of the biggest challenge that hinders the development of African football is money
He said through the CAF Super Cup competition, clubs will get a lot of money
"If you leave stadiums challenge, the biggest problem for African football is money. I thank FIFA President Gianni Infantino for giving us this idea"
"Through this new CAF SUPER LEAGUE competition, clubs will get a lot of money where first each club will get 2.5 million dollars for registering players and tournament expenses such as travel and hotel, but also the champion will get 100 million US dollars, " he said
