Yanga Head Coach Nasreddine Nabi congratulates leaders under President Engineer Hersi Said for successfully completing the signing of midfielder Gael Bigirimana a Burundian national
Bigirimana, who previously played for Newcastle United in England, was introduced on Saturday, July 09 after the Yanga General Election that put Hersi in power as the club's president
Nabi said despite his squad having the best midfielders, Bigirimana brings something different that they lacked
"When we got the information we could sign Bigirimana I prayed to God we get him, we did not have a midfielder of his kind," Nabi was quoted as saying by Mwanaspoti
"I see people talking about why he did not score many goals in Europe, I do not think it is a good idea to discuss such things, I know how to use Bigirimana here"
"We have Sure boy, Aucho, Feisal and Mauya but the great quality of these four people will be added with the strength of Bigirimana, is an experienced player who knows how to use his strength in the middle"
Nabi also praised the signing of midfielder Stepnane Aziz Ki noting that he already knows the player has been signed by Yanga and will add to their creativity in the attacking ranks
"This is a great gift for the fans of this club, it is a good job that Hersi did I am happy with the decision of the members to elect him, he is a young man fighting for this club it is not easy to get a player like this to come and play in Tanzania"
