Yanga spokesperson Haji Manara thanked the players, the technical bench, the management, the sponsors without forgetting the fans for their efforts which has enabled them to win the Premier League title this season
Manara said it was not easy to win the championship again without losing a match, their unity and cooperation was a great weapon for them to achieve the goal they set
Manara said there were those who mocked them when they convened meetings with the media but the results have been seen as once again Yanga has led by number of fans in stadiums
"First of all we would like to thank the Most Merciful God, and we would also like to express our sincere gratitude to the players, the technical bench, Management, the sponsors and all our Fans. Let me tell you, we have led the way again to bring in more fans to the stadium this season and the league board will come to confirm," said Manara
Manara said they are preparing for a big Title cerebration where June 26 will be a special day for Yanga fans across the country preparing a reception of its kind when the team return from Mbeya
Meanwhile, Manara have confirmed Yanga to withdraw from the Nani Zaidi competition run by Azam Media
Manara said Yanga will issue an official statement explaining the reasons for their decision
