Yanga Sc today announced their success in the Member Registration project that started six months ago
Kilinet who are the experts tasked with managing the database that will carry the information of Digital Registered Members, through the Executive Director Mohammed Saleh, have announced the registration of 34,650 Members
Through these Members' fees, Yanga has raised a total of Tsh 1.07 Billion making it the first club in the East and Central African region to raise a lot of money from Members
Yanga is expected to start the second phase of the project soon registering Fans
To be registered as a club-recognized fan, the cost is Tsh 17,000/- while the registration fee is Tsh 31,000/-
Yanga has set a goal of registering at least 1 Million fans
Yanga spokesperson Haji Manara said the club has every reason to be proud of their achievements, they have demonstrated their greatness in action
"We have every reason to be proud of this achievement. When we say Yanga is big we mean according to statistics. There are teams here in the past six months have collected 60 Million how can they compete with Yanga," said Manara
Yanga Chief Executive Officer Senzo Mazingisa said he was proud of the success they had achieved by registering Members digitally in partnership with Kilinet
"I am here as CEO and I am very proud of my Club for how successful we have been in this Digital Registration exercise in partnership with Kilinet Africa Company"
