Acting Chief Executive Officer of Yanga Senzo Mazingisa said they have welcomed with open arms the NANI ZAIDI competition started by Azam Media which will involve fans to vote for their teams with every vote worth Tsh 1000/-
Speaking at the launch of the competition, Senzo said the wealth of fans that Yanga and Simba have, should benefit the clubs
"The first time I came to Tanzania, when I saw the number of fans of these clubs, I saw money. We will continue our traditional opposition and flirt as usual but when it comes to economic opportunities Yanga and Simba we must work together"
"We have been in discussions with the leaders of Simba, Azam Media and the Government to ensure this is a success. We want our fans to show in action that we are big"
"This competition does not stop our other initiatives such as enrolling Members, but is an addition to what we do in our Transformation process," said Senzo
