Yanga Information Officer, Hassan Bumbuli mentioned the reason for their squad to set up camp in Shinyanga in preparation for the Azam Confederation Cup (ASFC) semi-final match which will be played on Saturday, May 28 at CCM Kirumba Stadium. p>
Bumbuli said Yanga was forced to leave Mwanza after missing good training grounds due to the existing ones being taken over by Simba
Bumbuli said they are satisfied with the decision to go to Shinyanga as it has been beneficial for them as they have found stability and helped them focus on game preparation
"We went to Shinyanga because Simba booked all the training grounds had been taken we went to Nyamagana, Butimba and even Gwambina all over and were told our colleagues had been there"
"As you know the culture of these two teams once you go somewhere you hear your opponent was there, you have to leave "
"Preparations are going well so far the squad has no injuries our mission is to reach the final. CCM Kirumba is a home stadium and Mwanza is like home we have come to a stadium that we have a good record with," said Bumbuli
