Yanga striker Fiston Mayele could strengthen himself in the race top scorer if he scores in the game against Azam Fc on Wednesday
Recently Geita Gold striker George Mpole scored his ninth goal in a 1-0 win over Mbeya City
Yesterday Reliants Lusajo failed to find the net in the game against KMC which ended in a goalless draw at Uhuru Stadium
Wednesday will be a chance for Mayele to leave his closest rival Lusajo if he succeeds in shaking ahead of Azam Fc
Mayele has had a good scoring form where in the last eight games, he has shaken almost every game
He would have scored 11 goals if the League Board had approved his goal of the game against KMC, which was awarded to Andrew Vicent as own goal
Mayele said he will make sure he uses every opportunity he gets in the game to score to help Yanga win
He said he respects his opponents in the race but he is determined to make sure he leaves with the golden boot at the end of the season
