Striker Fiston Mayele is currently the talk of the town here in Tanzania. It is due to his goal-scoring prowess in the Yanga squad leading the race for the golden boot with 10 goals
Mayele competes fiercely against Namungo Fc Reliants striker Lusajo who has also scored 10 goals
Mayele is the leading striker in Yanga's attacking line-up, at a very high level compared to his competitors Heritier Makambo and Yusufu Athumani who was sidelined for a long time due to injury
As Yacouba Songne continues to recover, Yanga's Head Coach Nasreddine Nabi is considering adding another striker in the next registration window
If Yanga wins the Premier League title next season they will take part in the Champions League, to do well in the tournament, they need to be strong in every area
At the moment Mayele does not seem to have strong opposition to his position which Nabi says should not be so
"I'm glad Mayele is doing very well but if you win the championship you are moving to another area where you need to be better than we are now"
"We will need someone better like Mayele or more, I believe in competition for position for players. At the moment Mayele is lucky to have none as his teammates were injured and others not starting well," Nabi was quoted as saying by Mwanaspoti
"I have started looking for a better person although I know it is not an easy task, not always you can be lucky to find a striker like Mayele"
"There are times in the match you wish to start with two strikers this we must start working on now though the important thing to do now is to win the Premier League Title first so we can stay in our goals," added Nabi
