Yanga Sc has announced the start of the annual general election process starting with Branch elections
Speaking to media earlier today, Yanga Chief Executive Officer Senzo Mazingisa said after the 2021 Yanga Constitutional Amendment was approved by the Government, the Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) has issued until June 30 that Yanga should change its structure. according to the Constitution
Senzo said they started by registering Branches where they set a criteria so that a Branch can be recognized it must have at least 100 Members where Branches that meet the criteria have been awarded certificates of recognition
In addition, Electoral Committee Chairman, Malangwe Ally Mchungahela has announced that March 18 all eligible branches will start internal elections
Mchungahela said the branches will hold elections from March 18 until the end of April before the election of top leaders of the club
The positions to be elected at branches are Chairman, Vice Chairman, Branch Secretary, Treasurer and Four Members
Top Branch Leaders (Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer) as well as two Members will represent the Branch in the election to get the top club leaders
