Yanga striker Fiston Mayele yesterday left with a prize of a cow in Mwanza after scoring the only goal of the victory against Geita Gold in a premier league match played at CCM Kirumba Stadium
It is a gift from the Yanga Branch from Kahama, Shinyanga. This is the second cow Mayele is awarded by Yanga fans this season
Yanga Information Officer Hassan Bumbuli said the club is making arrangements to transport the cow to Dar es Salaam. The value of the cow is Tsh 750,000 / -
Mayele was awarded the first bull in Morogoro after the game against Mtibwa Sugar scoring the second goal in the match which Yanga emerged with a 2-0 win
Meanwhile, Bumbuli has assured Yanga fans about the condition of Mayele who yesterday suffered injuries and was unable to finish the game against Geita Gold
Bumbuli said Mayele is doing well where doctors have said he will need three days to rest before returning to the field
So Mayele will be at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium when Yanga host KMC in a match to be played on March 16
