Yanga Chairman Dr Mshindo Msolla has urged Yanga fans, members not to be taken by their success in the first round of the NBC Premier League
Yanga closed out the first round with a 2-0 win over Mtibwa Sugar and started the second round with a 3-0 win over Kagera Sugar and maintained the top of the Premier League standings with 42 points.
Yanga leads the league by 11 points against second-placed Simba
Dr Msolla said if it is a match they have played in the first half they are leading so they should go back in the second half to protect their results and score more goals
He said the technical bench and players have work to do in the remaining 14 games to ensure they win the Title
"I want the technical bench and players not to be taken by this success. Players must fight to make sure we achieve our goals"
"For the fans we should also not over taken, we should show up in large numbers in the stadiums to support them. The leadership we have now is not final"
"We need to win the Title this season but the journey is still on, let's make sure we do well in the remaining 14 games of which four will be played outside Dar es Salaam and 10 will be played here in Dar es Salaam," said Dr Msolla
