In the last four seasons Yanga failed to win the premier league title, but significant investments have been made this season to ensure the Citizens end the drought of the title
The arrival of Coach Nasreddine Nabi is part of the investment in line with GSM's good signings
Nabi has made major changes to the squad this season where so far the Citizens have played 14 matches, leading the league without losing a game
There are times in seasons when Yanga missed out on the title, led the league for a long time but lost the chance to win the title
Nabi noted that this season things may be different
The depth of Yanga's squad this season gives Nabi confidence that if they continue to fight they can fulfill their ambition to win the Title
"I know we haven't won a league title in four seasons, I have tracked and noticed the shortcomings within those seasons are team deficiencies and a lack of continuous quality something we have this season"
"I'm glad this season I have found a good team and we have a wide squad that can possibly help us achieve our goals," said Nabi
Yanga will take to the field again next Wednesday in a premier league match against Mtibwa Sugar which will be played at Manungu Stadium, Turiani in Morogoro
