Yesterday there were Yanga fans who entered Benjamin Mkapa Stadium to watch the Confederations Cup match between Simba and Asec Mimosas
There are those who came in with the intention of supporting Asec Mimosas, it is common for Yanga fan to support opponent when it come to Simba games due to the history and traditional rivalry between the oldest teams in Tanzania
Even so, in Yanga's games you will find many Simba fans just cheering for the opposing team
There are videos showing Simba fans attacking Yanga fans on stage. It's a shame to see events like this still happen in stadiums
If you listen to Simba officials, they say that their fans are the best in the country because they are matured
Is matured fans beat their opposingi fans just because they do not support their team?
Worse enough, they attack their fellow fans in a game in which CAF cameras capture every event
If the CAF treats the event seriously, there will be consequences to Simba
There are times several seasons ago Yanga fans were accused and even some of them were banned from going to the stadiums for such incidents
I believe the authorities have seen the incident, they should take action as this is not the first time Simba fans have attacked their Yanga counterparts
Soon disaster will strike if this behavior is allowed to continue to take root
