First of all it is a matter of congratulations to Yanga leaders and stakeholders who initiated the efforts of various processes to support Yanga during the difficult period
The processes brought in GSM who later came to oversee the entire process of Transformation in collaboration with the Yanga leadership under Chairman Dr Mshindo Msolla
Now Yanga is in the process of registering Members in a digital system where the exercise continues across the country
According to reports from within Yanga leadership, as of last week, approximately 9600 Citizens were registered as Yanga Members within one month of the enrollment exercise
The amount of money collected is approximately Sh270, 504, 258/- ie over 270 Million
If Yanga succeeds in enrolling at least 100,000 Members then it will collect about 2.9 Billion
Certainly this Yanga process will be a model for others as so far have already started to show success early on and still not yet at 100% complete
Because after the Registration exercise then investors will be invited after the club value assessment is done
