The competency shown by Yanga players in the friendly matches they played in Zanzibar, has raised the confidence of coach Nasreddine Nabi who now believes his team is mature
Yanga was invited to Zanzibar for the one-year anniversary of the President of the Revolutionary Government, Dr. Hussein Ali Mwinyi where they played two matches and managed to win all
In those matches against Mlandege and KMKM Yanga missed 14 players where 10 were on national teams while four were injured
Nabi expressed satisfaction with the performance shown by his players believing will improve the team
"I am very happy with the players who were in the Zanzibar camp as they have fought to show they deserve to be given a chance to play in competitive matches this is a good thing for us," said Nabi
"That will increase the competition in the team but there will be no big difference between those who get a chance to start and who will be on the bench everyone who gets a chance will do their job properly"
Yanga returned to Dar es salaam over the weekend where today began preparations for the game against Namungo Fc which will be played on Saturday, November 20 at Ilulu Stadium, Lindi
