After scoring a goal against Ruvu Shooting, assistant captain Mukoko Tonombe was overjoyed and found himself in tears
Mukoko, who last season was voted Yanga's best player and included ni the TFF's best team of the season, said recently he found himself in trouble after red card he was shown against Simba in the FA Cup final last season
The Congolese said the incident upset him and contributed to his withdrawal from the game
Mukoko was forced to miss the first three matches of the season and could not return to the squad after midfielders Khalid Aucho and Yanick Bangala were in a good form
"Let me tell you, I have had a difficult time since the game I was given a red card (FA final), things have not been good in my football career"
"There were times when I found myself in despair and crying alone in the camp and even at home. That's why when I scored I found myself crying with joy that was mixed with sadness"
"I thank the Yanga fans who were with me through all the difficult times. I promise I will continue to give them happiness," said Mukoko
