In the 2018/19 season former Yanga Head Coach Mwinyi Zahera who is currently the Director of Youth Football Development, once said that there was promise of money when team they play win or even drew against them
Zahera said the information was provided by informants inside those teams
No Yanga leader complained about this even when former Dar es salaam Governor Paulo Makonda awarded KMC Tsh 20 Million after winning against Yanga
Basically it is not a sin for someone to promise to give money to a team they love after a win or drew
This is called motivation, for Yanga and Simba is normal. Mo has been giving money to Simba players whenever they do well in their matches and the same is true for GSM when Yanga is doing well
Now how come there are people complaining when the Governor of Mara promised to give Biashara United money if they would win or draw against Simba?
What's wrong with Dodoma City's caregiver making a promise to his team if they win or draw?
How are these promises different from those given by Yanga and Simba bosses to their teams when they win?
The complainants do not do rights to other teams as the big teams are doing it everyday
Basically this is a good thing because it has a direct benefit to players when they keep their promise
Teams should organize themselves, play football on the field, complaining is a sign of failure
Years ago Yanga was a beacon to complain about injustice in many respects but this season Citizens have said no complains no more
Everything sholud be done on the pitch while the football management authorities ensure that they fulfill their responsibilities
