Yanga's spokesman Haji Manara said despite the difficulty of the game against Rivers United to be played in Nigeria on Sunday, they are determined to make sure they emerge victorious
Speaking to reporters earlier today towards the game, Manara said they are aware that away matches have a lot of off-field issues but they are prepared to deal with them
"We're going to play a match that will be tough anyway, away matches in the Champions League are always tough and that's what we expect"
"We know that away matches have a lot of issues, psychologically we are prepared for that and that's why we sent strong representatives to make all the preparations before the team arrived," said Manara
Manara said Yanga will travel today at 8pm and arrive in Nigeria at 11pm (1am) Tanzanian time
Meanwhile, Yanga CEO Senzo Mazingisa, who is in Nigeria, said preparations for the team's reception is complete
Despite the challenges of dirty activities, Senzo said they are ready to deal with any kind of environment
"I have arrived since Monday and everything has gone well. We are trying to do everything we can to deal with any challenge we come through. We are waiting for the team to arrive first and then more will follow"
"Everything is the same as it was in the past in international competition and for our part we are all right, we have received a good reception from the ambassador the rest we are just waiting for the match," said Senzo
