Yanga may have a difficult time at the Champions League for lack of good preparation but they became strong at the Mainland Tanzanian Premier League and other upcoming competitions
The most obvious thing is that coach Nasredine Nabi lacks enough time to prepare the team for this international championship
Yesterday's game against Rivers United was clearly a reflection of Nabi's struggle to find a 'playing partnership' for the players in all the 'patterns' of defensive and attacking.
If he had enough time to stay with the team it would definitely not bother him.
What is needed is the leadership, members of Yanga SC to prepare psychologically for any outcome at the Champions League to give them a veto to better prepare for the local league which will help them more in their plans to CREATE A COMPETITIVE TEAM the next five years.
It is too early to start blaming and condemning the current squad despite the presence of a few players who are averaged, for the most part they have good players who are blended well and those averaged lastly will get a good hybrid to compete in the mainland Tanzania Premier League, ASFC, Revolution , Kagame and other informal competitions.
The problems they are going through at Yanga SC are not new to a team that is in the process of rebuilding itself to find quality or repeat its quality.
