The elders of the Yanga club today held an event to welcome the club Acting Chief Executive Officer Senzo Mazingisa and Haji Manara who have been handed over to the fans engagement department
It is common in our culture, for elders to have their place in the club, the event of welcoming Senzo and Manara is a sign that they are ready to work with them
Speaking at the event held at the Yanga Jangwani club headquarters in Dar es salaam, Manara said he owes a great debt to Yanga due to the great reception he received
"I received a great reception at the Mwananchi Day, I received many messages welcoming me to Yanga, and this event of being welcomed to the club by the Elders is something that makes me feel very indebted to the club"
"I promise, I will serve you with all my might and I am happy now I am at home. I am not new to this place, I used to play for the youth team here., let alone my elders play with great success here, they are also Members of this club" said Manara
In addition to the Champions League match against Rivers United which will be played on Sunday September 12 at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium, Manara said he will speak to the media tomorrow Wednesday to explain the game's strategies
