Yanga Head Coach Nasreddine Nabi continues to prepare his squad at Avic Town Kigamboni towards the Champions League match against Rivers United which will be played on Sunday September 12, 2021 at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium
After the Citizens' Week match, Nabi has spent a week fixing his squad where so far they are ready to face Rivers United
The Tunisian coach is determined to do well in the home game as he needs his strikers to score more goals
In the two friendly matches that Yanga have played after Mwananchi week, they have scored four goals and conceded one goal
Speaking on behalf of coach Nabi, Yanga Manager Hafidhi Salehe said their preparations have been completed to a great extent and what the coach is doing now is strengthening their attacking line to take advantage of the opportunities they are creating
"We have been well prepared since the end of Citizens' Week, we have trained enough and two friendly matches, have helped the coach get a real picture of his squad towards the game ahead of us"

International players are returning
The good news for Yanga is that some of the players who were with National teams, are expected to return from today
Ugandan midfielder Khalid Aucho and Mali goalkeeper Djigui Diarra are likely to land together today after a match of World Cup qualifiers between Uganda na Mali yesterday
Defender Yannick Bangala is likely to return tomorrow Wednesday while players on the Tanzania National team, will complete their responsibilities today with a game against Madagascar
