It has been reported that Rivers United have landed quietly in the country for the preliminary match against Yanga which will be played next Sunday, September 12 at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium
The team's officials arrived early and have been looking for information on Yanga
However, Yanga is aware, Information Officer Hassan Bumbuli said their representatives are in Dar es Salaam and had been following them
Bumbuli said due to the attention they have, that is why they have not been playing open matches that fans or everyone will go to watch, to avoid the fans reading the tactics of their coach Nasreddine Nabi.
"We have found out that our opponents have brought their people early. Their goal is to spy on us, how we are, to watch our matches to find out where our weaknesses are. But we have discovered this," he said
Yanga, who played a match at the climax of Citizens' Week on August 29, played two of its unbeaten matches against Friends Ranger and won 3-1, but on Sunday played against Pan African and beat them 1-0. p >
