Following the signing of Shabani Djuma who has taken over the role of right-back, Yanga Head Coach Nasreddine Nabi still seems to need Kibwana Shomari in his first team and could change his responsibilities
In last week's Mwananchi match clash against Zanaco Fc, Kibwana served as a left-back, playing the role for the entire 90 minutes
Despite the signing of David Bryson who has joined the defensive line on the left with Adeyum Saleh and Yassin Mustafa, Nabi still preferred to start with Kibwana
Recently in a friendly match against Friends Rangers, Kibwana once again started in the defensive line on the left while Djuma sat on the right
Nabi later moved Kibwana to the defensive midfield to replace Zawadi Mauya who was injured while Adeyum came on to play on the left
Bryson is still not 100 percent fit as he was injured like Yassin who missed almost all of the second round matches last season due to injury
Kibwana is the player with many minutes in Yanga's squad last season
His form is superb, but it is still not easy for him to put Djuma out in the defensive line on the right
Since Nabi still needs him to start in his squad, he has to change roles
