Young Africans Sc has announced former Transformation Adviser Senzo Mazingisa as the club's Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in the transition period
Speaking at a press conference earlier today, Yanga Vice-Chairman Fredrick Mwakalebela said Senzo would be the interim Chief Executive to oversee all issues accepted at the Members' General Assembly
Mwakalebela also said that Haji Mfikirwa, who was acting secretary general, has returned to his position of Director of Finance and Administration
Senzo thanked Yanga leaders for giving him the opportunity to oversee the resolutions reached at the General Assembly
He promised to work with other Yanga leaders to ensure they complete the Transformation process
"I am very grateful to the Yanga leadership for giving me this opportunity to help achieve our goals. Now it is my responsibility to ensure that Transformation is completed successfully," said Senzo
"I will work with my fellow leaders including Haji who despite returning to his former position, nothing will change. We have one task to ensure our club succeeds"
Mfikirwa who was acting as Secretary General, thanked Yanga leadership for giving him the position
"Now we are going to live the Transformation. Personally I am grateful for the opportunity I was given to act. Together we will work hard to bring Yanga to where we want it to be.
