Yanga Head Coach, Nasriddine Nabi has urged fans not to worry as this season they have the best team capable of winning all domestic titles and representing Tanzania well in the Champions League
Yanga lost 2-1 to Zanaco FC of Zambia in an international friendly match on the climax of Citizens' Week, a match played at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium, Dar es Salaam on Sunday
Speaking after the game, Nabi said losing the game was part of testing his squad which has not fully started preparations for next season although he is pleased with the players' responsibility"Our fans should not be afraid, let them know they have a good team this season that will be able to win every domestic trophy and do well in the Champions League, the results of Zanaco's game should not disappoint them," Nabi told the state media HabariLeo
The Tunisian coach said after the Zanaco match, he planned to continue with his special program which he started in Morocco to strengthen his squad in every department to play good football and get results in all matches including the Champions League where on September 12 they will play Rivers United of Nigeria
He said apart from his players looking good technically, but stamina and playing systems have been a problem for them, so he also plans to work on it in their two-week training session before facing Rivers United
"We have signed good players, I believe we will do well"
